Dr. HP Singh is a law graduate and Chartered Accountant since 1984, boasting over thirty years of microfinance expertise. He pioneered the daily collection of loan repayments and possesses extensive experience in lending, auditing, project financing, advisory services, and company law.
His financial engineering skills have been pivotal in enhancing SCNL’s operational strategy and efficiency. As a member of FICCI’s Banking and Financial Institution Committee and former Chair of Sa-Dhan, Dr. Singh has significantly contributed to industry growth. Additionally, he serves as Trade Commissioner for the Indian ASEAN Trade Council.
His leadership since SCNL’s inception in 1990 has transformed the company into a leading microfinance institution, serving millions with diverse financial solutions including microfinance, MSME, and affordable housing loans.
